Sweet Latkes

Ingredients:
(Serves 4)
2 1/4 lbs potatoes
7 oz grated Gruyère or Swiss cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour
1 onion
Cooking oil
Salt

Method:
Peel and grate the potatoes. Rinse and drain the potatoes in a colander. Add them to a salad bowl with the egg, cheese, flour, and a pinch of salt. Mince the onion and add it to the bowl. Mix well. Heat oil in a pan. With a tablespoon, drop circles of the mixture into the pan. Flip over after 5 minutes of cooking. Serve with a salad or with plain sour cream.
